Wasteland Warriors - Printed

Regular price $25.00

Fistful of Lead: Wasteland Warriors is designed as a quick set of tabletop wargame rules for skirmishes in the Post Apocalyptic future. The rules are easy to learn and still keep the flavor of the genre.

THIS NOT A STAND ALONE GAME! You will need the Fistful of Lead Core Rulebook to play.

There are full rules for building your gang of humans, robots, and mutants, and sending them on campaigns. The book includes rules for mutations and creatures that stalk the Wastelands.

This is ONE OF THE MOST VERSATILE TITLES we have.  Everyday someone asks how we play super heroes.  Wasteland Warriors has 74 mutations.  That's how we do supers (plus the 81 spells from Magic and Mages)!

What separates Wasteland Warriors from most tabletop miniature games on the market is the unique card driven turn mechanism. This leads to snap decisions and tense moments where all the players are involved.

Other entertaining features found in this title;

  • 14 scenarios
  • 26 weapons
  • 6 booby traps
  • 7 wandering monsters
  • 5 events
  • 38 items of gear
  • 32 creature menagerie

If you look at that list of cool things and say you can't use any of it, I'll call you unimaginative.

For Fistful of Lead games we wanted the play to be fast and furious, with a Hollywood flair to it. For that reason, record keeping is kept to a bare minimum.

In most games, each player can control up to 5-6 miniatures without much trouble. Games can have up to 8 players without slowing down the game. Now, you can dig out all your old miniatures gathering dust and have a game set in the Wastelands of the future.

Experienced wargamers and new players alike will enjoy this game. It’s perfect for convention games and just one on one skirmishes.

THIS NOT A STAND ALONE GAME! You will need the Fistful of Lead Core Rulebook to play.

A WASTELAND OF WILD FUN

As a longtime enjoyer and supporter of Wiley Games I already own many of the PDF books and adventures. However, recently I decided to also get the physical version of some of my favorite games. For many reasons Wasteland Warriors was the obvious first choice, besides the core Fistful of Leads rule book.

Wasteland Warriors contains a plethora of useful, interesting, and inspiring options. Things such as the mutations, secret organizations, and "Make Your Own Creatures" show how versatile the core rules are both in adding your own things but also creating a world that is your own.

I love the PDF versions of the books for many reasons, but one of the best parts of the physical book was recently being able to pull it out at my local gaming store and others instantly loving the cover of the book. This not only lead to me being able to describe the great setting but even got other interested in seeing the game in action when I am able to play it with a buddy at the store.

Sure, I sometimes notice slight editing errors, but the passion of the creator matters more. Besides, it is helping me with my own projects, and I will be excited to combine some elements from Fistful of Lead Reloaded, as well as Tales of Horror to create my own weird western world.

Always, as with all Wiley games one of the best parts of Wasteland Warriors is that I will be able to use miniatures that I love from so many games which I do not play into a wild fun game. Plus finding new random miniatures or kits I've wanted to buy but did not know how I would ever use them.
